Install a new plugin by Stijn_klasje on 10-01-2005 at 04:02 PM

Hello everyone!

Sorry if there are spelling mistakes, I don't speak English very good :$

I am wondering why I can't install new plugins (plugins whithout an installer, just the .dll). I tried it with the example plugin wich comes with the msg Plus! API. I copied the dll into the msg Plus! plugins folder and I added something to the registry. And then I rebooted the computer. And I don't see the plugin installed (in the options of Plus!, Plugins section).
I am using Windows XP Home edition and msn messenger 7.5.0244.

Thank you!

The plugin should be registered too...

You should use installers to install them...

There are some installer scripts posted here on the forums a while ago... You can search for it.

By the way, don't try the VB.NET plugin, I can't even install it myself:P

I used the Visual Basic plugin, because I always program in Visual Basic.
