I think this has been asked before, but searched and couldn't find any threads so sorry...

When you save a custom smilie/moving smilie, where is the actual file saved to? Can you access this file and use the pics for other things?

After reading through that, I have found the files... but how do I convert them into jpegs or whatever needs to be done to be able to view them and use them elsewhere?

You can simply rename them, copy them to another folder first

Alternately you can use Custom Emoticon/Display Picture Backup Wizard, this will back them up to a folder you choose and rename them to the proper extension (incase you doubt wich extension the files originally are).
