[REQUEST] /me name changer - Printable Version

While in a conversation, My name is sometimes long.

Example: [Image: longname9au.png]

But When I use the /me command my whole name is used like so:
[Image: longme2kx.png]

It would be cool if there would be a plugin that would let you change what is said in front of the action. SO you could set your name to show up there instead of your whole msn name. As shown here:
[Image: loulaughs7gd.png]

This would eliminate confusion in conversations with a few people too.

I know you use Stuffplug so you can use this trick I made:

Make a Quick Text, I named mine /mee

/xchatname <your name here>
#/me (!P)
#/xchatname

And that's it!!! The second /xchatname turns it off so it will go back to your normal nick. Takes just less then a second to send though. I guess it needs time to change, send, change back etc.

You must have StuffPlug installed if you want this to work!

</your>lol I never thought of that. But there might be an easier way? maybe not....I will try this out when I get back from school

This way, u can make an imitate function with ease:

/xchatname (!N) //make ur nick ur contacts nick
#(!P) //here comes ur imitated message
#/xchatname //reset ur nick

For imitated messages just use Messenger Discovery.

why would we download another
program if Plus! can do
