I don't know about most people, but I find id highly annoying when people do this kind of thing to thier names. Thank goodness for contact list renaming and truncating!

You add slashes to strings, but you don't handle numbers well. Just do an intval() on numbers.

I have never seen the point of having names like that. It is a waste of time, why can't you just use your real name? Atleast then people can identify you easily.
