Flock - Social Web Browser by surfichris on 10-21-2005 at 04:10 AM

Okay, Flock is basically a social web browser based on the Gecko rendering engine and the powerful XUL engine from Firefox. It integrates sites like del.icio.us and Flickr directly into your browser, built in support for blogging (via XMLRPC) and a while lot of other nifty things.

The beta was made publicly available today, you can get it here: http://www.flock.com/

I'd recommend checking it out.

I took a little bit of a look at it and my review is here: http://www.surfionline.com/archives/2005/10/21/flock/

Screenshots tagged as 'flock' can be found here on Flickr: http://flickr.com/photos/tags/flock

Coverage on Technorati: http://technorati.com/tag/flock

Take a look - it's quite an interesting browser.

Looks pretty cool has alot of usefull things , even though I wont change change to it (no e4x :refuck: )
wonder when someone will mimic its bookmark system in a extention because thats wayy better than the normal bookmark system (i already use del.icio.us for most of my bookmarks atm aswell).

I was reading about this in the Maxthon forum. Looks promising.

This looks very nice. I genuinly really like this browser, probably cos its like FireFox :D
The bookmarks system is a bit confusing for me at the moment, so I'm gonna go and have a look at that...

btw, are there any themes available yet? I know it's early days might as well ask :P

p.s. is there any way to import your FireFox settings?
