I have several personal statuses ( ? ) that I use but I have a problem.

One of my statuses is 'Sleeping' and I enable this when I go to bed at night. I remain signed in overnight but when I wake up and check my MSN in the morning (or early afternoon ) my status is just set to Away - without the sleeping part.

However,  I have disabled the options in both MSN and Plus! that automatically change my status after x minutes of inactivity so it can't be that tha causes it.

The only thing I can think of is that I have several security scans that I have automatically scan the computer in the early hours. Maybe these could cause the problem?

Any help very much appreciated.

That's just because u get signed-out during the night and then right back in, due to serve hiccups (or so they're called - CookieRevised knows more than me at that point, since he told me what they are & how they're called ) and if i'm right, i don't think there's anyhting u can do about it.

I don't know if u tried this but, if u go into the Plus! "General Option -> Misc" and then with the "Automaticaly change...", u can set the status to "sleeping" (in your case).

It might get annoying to do all the time in the long run, but that might be a solution.

Yeah I thought about that but like you say it could get annoying especially during the day and I'm inactive for a while.

It's nothing major, I was just curious as to what was going on so I'll leave it as it is.
