Not that I know of. The plugins are usually only small apps, so they shouldn't (unless you have a crappy compy to begin with, then there's no guarantees 
)

Well evey program runs process memory and you are lauching a new one each time so yes 
but bearly anything

Well, there could be another culprit, Windows ME, as you mentioned in the other thread
