hi, had this problem for sometime, and unable to resolve.
my msn will 'hang' or freeze after a random period of time. my status still looks at what it was (online or whatever is choosen), but i am basically 'offline' to all others.
and i cant change my status, the only thing i can do is log off and log in again.
i tried uninstall & reinstall. (maybe there's a more advanced method to it?)
i tried using MsgPplus! & A-patch & without them.

I'm using WinXP Pro with SP2 on an Intel P4 (no HT). Using a router and gotten the latest version of msn 7.5 & MsgPlus!.

well, just a bump for this post.
if no one have this problem, then i believe it has to be my OS conflict with MSN.
gotta format it in the next few week.
