Hi RE: iTunes and Messenger HELP!!! by Matti on 11-16-2005 at 03:00 PM
U need a plugin 2 link Messenger 2 iTunes, like the WinAmp plug. RE: iTunes and Messenger HELP!!! by Hüstich on 11-16-2005 at 03:04 PM hmm... I wonce had iTunes, and it DID show what its playing... I dont think you need a plugin RE: iTunes and Messenger HELP!!! by matty on 11-16-2005 at 03:12 PM
MSN Messenger includes a plugin that is used for Windows Media Player and iTunes. I did a few tests and no matter what I did I couldn't break it and prevent iTunes from setting the personal message. RE: iTunes and Messenger HELP!!! by snobpride on 11-17-2005 at 04:56 PM Still not working! RE: iTunes and Messenger HELP!!! by snobpride on 11-20-2005 at 07:34 AM
Nothing's working!!!!! RE: iTunes and Messenger HELP!!! by Pyroteq on 11-20-2005 at 10:21 AM
It works for me, although once or twice it didnt show that the song had changed.. and didnt show at all. RE: iTunes and Messenger HELP!!! by Hank on 11-20-2005 at 10:38 AM is there a section in the iTunes Options to turn on something? RE: iTunes and Messenger HELP!!! by steVenB on 11-20-2005 at 05:22 PM Dumb question but I'll ask anyway. Have you turned on this feature from MSN messenger? Also do you have this plugin turned on in WMP? RE: iTunes and Messenger HELP!!! by Reaper on 11-20-2005 at 05:26 PM no one has mentioned it and you didnt say you have done it either but, have you tried completely removing iTunes and then reinstalling? RE: iTunes and Messenger HELP!!! by GiantSpider on 11-20-2005 at 05:28 PM Even if the plugin is activated in WMP as long as it's not running MSN will show what is playing in iTunes so that can't be it. The only possibility is not having it activated in MSN Messenger. RE: RE: iTunes and Messenger HELP!!! by snobpride on 11-21-2005 at 09:39 AM

Have you installed the Windows Media Player? My friend had the same problem, and he hadn't got the Media Player, and when he reinstalled it, it worked RE: iTunes and Messenger HELP!!! by Kryptonate on 01-09-2006 at 03:39 PM
Have you got anything installed just before the problem began? Like a plugin for Plus! or something else? quote:MSN Messenger gets it from iTunes. iTunes itself hasn't got anything to do with it so no, there's no option for it included in iTunes. quote: quote:so yes, I think snobpride has got Windows Media Player installed . Edit: btw, this thread is already pretty old :/ |
