I have been having this orcurrance happening on my computer for quite some time now, but it only happens on occasion. When I click my user name and my account loads... normaly my internet connects in a few seconds time, and then msn loads. Yet, on occassion, this process can take minutes. Does anyone know why?

check your 'starup' on Star >All Programas>starup.
or Star>Run and type msconfig, and checn you starup programs may be there is something that is affecnting its priority.

How do you connect to the internet? If it's an automatic broadband activation it can take a while now and again (if it's ADSL this is likely the problem). If the modem has been unpluged and it is plugged back in, it needs to establish the ADSL connection to your ISP, which can take a variable ammount of time (I've had it take as long as 6 minutes), this problem can't be avoided I'm afraid.
However how do you connect to the internet? What type of connection do you have?
