is there any way to find out if a contact has MsgPlus without asking them .i want to know if one if one of my contacts are using MsgPlus indirectly,is there a way ,if so what is it ?.what does the ping do ?

send them ping. and if you get a responce of pong then that means they have msgplus installed

You will see a Ping command sent and receive a Pong... they will receive the same

though some people choose to disable ping-ing so it wouldn't look like they have it.
