Before installing Plus!, changing default pictures (both display and background) were effortless.  But now that I've got Plus!, every time I log in, it shows my pre-Plus! pictures.  I've looked and looked in the Preferences, but can't find any feature that has anything to do with changing default pictures.  And when I use the Messenger (7.5) features, it only works until I sign out.  Any help would be appreciated. 

Go into MSN Options (Tools -> Options, NOT Plus! Preferences) and make sure the following box isnt ticked.

Thank you Eljay.  I wish it were so easy.  Like I said in my original post.... I DO have display pictures and background pictures... but they're the pre-Plus! pics I had.  I just can't get new default pictures to stay.  Every time I re-sign in, the old ones come back.  Thanks again though for your time. 

do you sign out proply or do you just RIGHT CLICK {msn in system tray}>EXIT?
because for the settings t save and be applied still when you sign in you have to sign out by FILE>SIGN OUT

or

RIGHT CLICK {msn in system tray} > SIGNOUT

also do you sign out of MSN before you shut down your computer, this will also not save yoru display pictures and what not, including changes to your personal message

Thank you DJKal and NightMare!  I never even thought about the "sign out" process.  I did it and it worked!  Thanks a bunch!!!
