WLM Invite doesent work by Hüstich on 12-30-2005 at 10:26 AM
I just recieverd a invite from a friend, but the Download Now link doesent work... It is made only of image and text, so there is no link...
I have 2 accounts, 1 hotmail account and one gmail, i only use my hotmail to access MSN, i didnt transform gmail into a passport. And the email was sent to my Gmail account...
Any suggestions? Here is a screenshot of the message

Try using IE if you use firefox.
Also, you can go to http://ideas.live.com (any browser), login, and scroll down to WLM and click Download Now

I use IE, and yes i have tryed that, no link 
Edit: I got the invite today, does it need more time to update?

i read this in the Newsgroups.. hold on,, this guy actually fixed it by emailing Microsoft about it,,

i had the same problem i had to change my security settings on IE to get it to work,,

i had this problem.... just view the source
look for something in the source along the lines of:

the problem occurs becoz Gmail doesn't read addresses like hotmail does, the >=20 in the link is actually mis read and so you get an invalid link message
this error was reported a while ago, and was actually known in beta1

yeah... thats gonna work, there is a thing called junk box that keeps messages for three days if known to be spam; so you can restore it if need be. Anyway, there is a thread for this... WLM invite begging i think its called

Thing is, when i view source, theres nothing there like this
