I have a problem, I got this plugin that changes the color of the text in your nick, but how do I change it? All that seemed to happen was it made my nick text box bigger...

you dont need a plugin!
MESSNEGER PLUS! can do this for you
instructions:

1) open a conversatoin box
2) type "/nick" {without the quotations(")!}
3) press SPACE
4) for bold, italics, strikthrough or underlined type CTRL+R and choose you option
5) for colour type CTRL+K and select your colour
6) press ENTER

NB! DO NOT FORGET THE SPACE AFTER "/nick" AND ALL THIS MUST BE DONE IN A CONVERSATION BOX

You can put colors and text style in your display name if you want, but keep in mind that only people with Messenger Plus! installed will see the result.
