Hi RE: webcam in convasation with more then one other by user27089 on 01-19-2006 at 07:49 AM
It isn't possible for MSN Messenger to have more then two people in a video conversation at once I'm afraid. RE: webcam in convasation with more then one other by mfragola on 01-26-2006 at 07:32 PM Not supported... hope WLM can do this RE: webcam in convasation with more then one other by haydos on 01-26-2006 at 07:42 PM
quote:From what I have seen in the BETA it is still not possible. I havn't found a way to do it Starting webcam in a group convo tells you to choose a specific contact to send the cam to and trying to invite a contact to a webcam chat gives an error. I'm unsure of any other way it could be achieved. RE: webcam in convasation with more then one other by mfragola on 01-26-2006 at 08:32 PM

quote:Yes, use NetMeeting. It is possible todo this via MSN/Windows Messenger since a long time! Though you need the component to be installed. But NetMeeting is by default installed on XP and Windows 2000. If you don't run one of these OS's then you first need to download and install NetMeeting. In a conversation in Messenger: Actions > Start Video Conference (This is also one of the reasons why you should not remove or disable Windows Messenger on a Windows XP machine! If you do want to "disable" Windows Messenger from starting up automatically, see CookieRevised's reply to I am about to rip my hair out over MS Messanger) Though NetMeeting will be phased out over time and be replaced with Live Meeting (the functions keep the same though). |
