I remember a post a time back with a quote from cookie saying the ports on MSN (which i have been trying to find out for some time) quote:Now the questions Do I really need to port forward em? Is there more chance of recieving viruses/other bad stuff? If I need too which are most needed? Thanks in advance, SonicSam PS: Are these the same ports for WLM? because I use wlm. and I am not going to forward ports WLM dont even use ![]() RE: Is it recomended to port forward MSN? by lopardo on 01-28-2006 at 08:36 PM
Well, if everything's working now, you don't need to touch anything. RE: Is it recomended to port forward MSN? by Kryptonate on 01-28-2006 at 08:40 PM
Only change something on the open ports if a program asks for it or if a program (MSN Messenger in this case) isn't able to connect to the server. There's no bigger chance of getting a virus or so.
