i decided to use the record conversation feature in WLM and so i set it all up {obviously} and it worked fine

i clicked the link at the top "click here to view your entire conversation history with this contact"
and it came up with the normal screen but no conversation just the message:

Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

The system cannot locate the resource specified. Error processing resource 'file:///F:/Documents and Settings/DJ/My Documen...
and i haven't changed any settings or altered anything i havent even gone into the folder that i set to record my conversations, set it as hidden or moved it!
it just started coming up with that message .... and it seems apparently for no reason
please help, i would like to solve this !

Source: Release Notes for Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview (lots more interesting IE 7 stuff onhere too)
Uninstalling Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview
To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview and return to Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP
Click “Start,” and then click “Control Panel.”
Click “Add or Remove Programs.”
Check “Show Updates” at the top of the dialog box.
Scroll down the list to “Windows XP – Software Updates,” select “Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2Preview,” and then click "Change/Remove."
If "Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview" does not exist, run %windir%\$NtUninstallie7bet2p$\spuninst\spuninst.exe. You need to have "view hidden folders" enabled.
Edit: you're welcome

Bump! has anyone find a way around this issue?
RE: WLM recorded convos "broken" by DJKAL on 02-05-2006 at 12:15 AM
yes, uninstall IE7 BETA
works fine then
RE: WLM recorded convos "broken" by guanako on 02-05-2006 at 12:18 AM
sorry i wanst so specefic but i meant keeping IE7 and having the WLM feature working aswell.
RE: WLM recorded convos "broken" by DJKAL on 02-05-2006 at 12:19 AM
for now it seems that that is impossable, we'll just have to wait untill the 2 BETA's work side by side
at the sacrifice of one
for me it was IE7 .. it sucks
RE: WLM recorded convos "broken" by guanako on 02-05-2006 at 12:28 AM

Found a workaround on the very same page i linked to earlier:
NEW--Attempts to view MSN Messenger Logs generate an XSL error. To work around this issue, configure MSN Messenger to store logs in a folder, without any spaces in the path to that folder.

Did your conversation get moved automaticly?
RE: WLM recorded convos "broken" by guanako on 02-06-2006 at 12:10 AM
wells since i disabled it before, i made a new folder, but thats a good point i'll see if moving them form the original to the new one works.
edit yeah just move the the old folder. mine was
C:\Documents and Settings\Guanako\My Documents\My Received Files\guanakoad489871266\History
so now it would be
C:/History
if you already made the folder, just move the chatlogs.
RE: WLM recorded convos "broken" by DJKAL on 02-06-2006 at 08:04 AM
hassle
I'd rather just not have IE BETA 7. It's crap anyway
