Recognising hardware by Chris4 on 02-15-2006 at 12:32 PM

I just had my work experience interview with a company called DBS Computers. They fix computers and also have an internet cafe in their shop.

The guy who runs it, David, gave me a little test. He showed me a piece of hardware and asked me what it was. I saw the "ATI" on it and said a "graphics card" (below). I was correct.

That was just luck because I know a little bit about graphics cards. He then showed me something else and I didn't know what it was. It was a SCSI card (below) which I've never herd of.

I'm only 14 but what I want to do is impress him so if he shows me something else, I will get it right, like a sound card or something!

What I'm asking is if someone could post pictures of different hardware and a little bit of information about it. Or just anything that will help me!! :P

Thanks alot! :D

Playing Card

Anyway, the first graph card was pretty crappy, this is a better image (and a batter card).
