Feature Request: Individual settings for Auto Accept Requests by ubercam on 02-16-2006 at 01:47 AM

Preferences, Instant Messages, General Options, Automatically Accept Requests by Default

What I would like to see here is when you filter contacts, that you can set individual settings for each contact.

ex.

Contact A - auto accept everything
Contact B - auto accept only file transfers
Contact C - auto accept only game requests
Contact D - auto accept only webcam & voice chat requests
Contact E - auto accept everything except webcam
Contact F - don't automatically accept anything

Basically, I would like to see each contact having individual settings for each different type of request there is, like Games, Video, Voice, Activities, etc.

Is this feasible or no?

Thank you!
Cam

It's a nice idea, but some people have 300+ contacts. It would get very confusing.

I agree, but not everyone has 300+ contacts (like me).

Not everyone has to use it, just like not everyone has to use any other feature of MsgPlus, like logging, custom login notifications, or the boss shortcut.

Not all those features are useful to everyone using MsgPlus, and this one certainly wouldn't be useful to everyone either.

Doesn't mean it shouldn't be there...

I personally have 300+ and I belive it could be useful, sometimes I just want to start up my auto-accept with only 5 persons I trust, not the others.
