My new laptop just arrived  :banana:

I can't use it until tonght though, till I finish work. :(

  • AMD Turion64 ML-37 Processor 2.0GHz
  • 160 GB Dual Hard Drive (2x 80GB)
  • 1024 MB RAM
  • DVD ReWriter MultiDrive
  • 128MB ATi Radeon 200M dedicated graphics
  • 17" Widescreen BrightView Display

w00tage can't wait to give it a go.

Laptop insurance pays off :P  this only cost me £80 cos it was a replacement for my 3 year old laptop which I just sent back cos I had broken the A and S keys  and the hinge was loose, but because they took more than 6 weeks to repair it, I got to choose a replacement :nana:

Thats awesome! Getting a new (better) laptop is always kickass!

I had mine replaced a few weeks back.

  • Intel Centrino 1.86GHz w.2MB L2 Cache
  • 1024MB DDR2 Ram
  • 8x Dual-Layer DVD Burner
  • 256MB ATI Mobility Radeon X700 dedicated
  • 15.4" Widescreen

I'll be upgrading the RAM to 2GB DDR2 soon!

damn i want a new pc... not a laptop though, the keyboard is compressed (annoying) and i hate the touch mouse thing

Not sure about video card, but i dont really care since i wont be playing on it

I might make it better if i get more money :)

Thats why you get a seperate mouse. That what I did. I rarely ever use the touch-pad. And the only time I do, is if I'm computing in bed, on the bus, or somewhere where I can't setup my mouse!

I had a bit of a go on the laptop last night before I went out and it's really cool.  Stuff just seems to happen in a breeze.  I know that partially because theres hardly anything installed etc yet, but meh 1GB ram is cool :p

Only downside is I gotta get a new case for it, its too wide to fit into my old one d'oh.

I wonder how Juzzi is getting along with his. Anyway I may get more RAM or format my PC it really is starting to get slow. :P

oh yea :p i have done that once, i made some fixed on one pc then did some work on another copy, released that and lost the original fixes.
