Plug-in Question. by DarkArtemisa on 03-02-2006 at 06:37 AM
Hi All...
Alright, I've read about 100 posts trying to find something related to what I need, cuz I dislike to post for things that were already discussed, but I couldn't find anything... My question is, is there a way to make my msn sound different when an specific contact sends me a message? I mean, when someone sends you a message, it makes a sound, is there a way to make this sound different for a specific contact? I already have the sign-in/out different, but I can't tell the difference when they message me... The reason is that my msn is away 24/7 while I work, and I can't come running to check if the person I'm waiting messaged me or not, I hope this seems clear enough. Thanks in advanced.

I don't recall this having been asked for in the past, but I will research for it.
I personally think this is a good feature that MP! L could offer (not needed to be a plug-in).
I do not know if it's possible or not since i'm no programmer, but my guess is it is.
Anyhow =
EDIT : Woups! This has been discussed before, check this thread out :

EDIT 2 : After re-reading this a few times, I think what Sunshine meant is that MP! does not have the feature for the moment. I do not know if it could be added though.

Thanks for the reply... I just read the thread, and it really doesn't give any options, I hope someone takes the idea, cuz it'd be a really good feature. just like a celphone, you'd know who's messaging without checking on it.
