I recently purchased a domain only from them, pointed it at my own webspace, and so far its been flawless. RE: 1&1 how good? by Wabz on 03-06-2006 at 11:40 AM I know a lot of people who use these guys and it seems to be a reliable service. Although the hostings on a bit of an expensive side RE: 1&1 how good? by DJKAL on 03-06-2006 at 01:33 PM

was it easy to take the domain to another server? RE: 1&1 how good? by musicalmidget on 03-06-2006 at 05:51 PM I'm afriad I actually had quite a negative experience with 1&1. They managed to "loose" my request for the domain not to be automatically renewed so as I could re-register it somewhere else after it had expired. Subsequently they charged me another years registration on the domain. Although it wasn't a large amount of money to pay, the principal of having to pay for something I had cancelled put me off somewhat. |
