what do you think of the new changes to the regulations and rules?

my brothers follows it very carefully, i m not that keen.
what are the new changes? i find it really hard to follow up with them changing the rules every year.

My father loves formula one, plus we've got a Portuguese (2nd year he's been there) :P, on Jordan, but i guess it has changed to Midland or something.. The guy is a good pilot, he was the best rookie ever on F1 :D

I can't stand the F1, it's boring as hell. The best one I ever watched was the one in Australia, where they all crashed.

lol i agree, F1 was on a minute ago and i think it still is. But i agree with traxor it is boring!!! The only good bits are when they all crash lol:P

Tyre changing in pit stops being reallowed is an improvement. Haven't looked into the new qualifying much yet, but it's surely better than last year.

Anyone who claims F1 is boring is probably missing part of what makes F1 what it is. You don't have to have people overtaking every three seconds to have a fun race: you just need people to run close, and try to outdrive each other. That's exactly what Alonso and Schumacher did, as did Button and Montoya, Rosberg and half the field, etc.

I love F1, and I'm watching it today. I get more bored in soccer (unless an interesting game with my fav teams) than F1. I've seen the season at least 3 times and I haven't got bored of it.

i can understand how people can see it as boring... but once you get into it its really interesting, the pit stops and different stratergies etc..

What happens to the lap records then? Surely all of them will be obselete because with slower engines, they cannot keep the speed.

They've actually only lost about 10-15km/h in all, but yeah, there's not going to be any lap records broken this season.

True :< Tho You never know, teams could make the car's lighter and streamlined and still break records. You never know :P
