Cookie's reply to blasphemy.killercarrot.co.uk (read requirements etc. carefully and follow links in that post). RE: Ink by Stigmata on 03-20-2006 at 04:49 PM http://www.stiggy.be/msn/index.php/Handwriting RE: Ink by omgmsnlolz on 03-20-2006 at 05:03 PM
Windows Journal Viewer with the update did not work. Nothing changed. MSN Messenger still crashes with the error pages that is covered in ads. RE: Ink by Stigmata on 03-20-2006 at 05:35 PM
Windows Journal Viewer enables handwriting without the need for the plugin. RE: Ink by omgmsnlolz on 03-20-2006 at 05:42 PM
well, I deleted the plugin's dll. Now, msn keeps crashing while signing in, but this time it is no longer bringing the error screen that is covered in advertisements. RE: Ink by riahc4 on 03-20-2006 at 07:44 PM

while trying to uninstall messenger plus, it gave this error: RE: Ink by Sunshine on 03-21-2006 at 04:32 PM
quote:Do you have admin rights on that account (not sure wether such exists on 2000 as i never used it myself)? Or is there anything running on your computer preventing registrychanges (example: AdWatch in AdAware SE)? quote:Handwriting may or may not work on Windows2000, as said in the thread about the plugin here. quote:Could it be that along with handwriting plugin you installed Infopen? If so, go to add/remove programs and uninstall that aswell. RE: Ink by omgmsnlolz on 03-21-2006 at 05:30 PM
yup, admin account. 2000 is part of the NT series, after all (2000 is NT 5.0, XP is NT 5.1) RE: Ink by omgmsnlolz on 03-22-2006 at 02:55 PM
well, as it turns out, you have to have msn messenger installed in order to uninstall messenger plus. RE: Ink by RaceProUK on 03-22-2006 at 03:47 PM Windows Journal Viewer *does* come with Ink, and it *will* enable Handwriting in Messenger. If this hasn't happened on your machine, try reinstalling it. RE: RE: Ink by omgmsnlolz on 03-22-2006 at 03:53 PM
er.. are you sure? i have installed it on two computers now, both running windows 2000, and.. the only change on the computers that came from it is that Windows Journal Viewer is installed. RE: Ink by RaceProUK on 03-22-2006 at 11:48 PM
OK, I was sure it came with Ink. Can someone confirm? RE: RE: Ink by Sunshine on 03-23-2006 at 09:46 AM
