i jsut restarted my computer, after removing some stuff RE: dodgy microsoft by Triple6 on 03-30-2006 at 06:43 AM
So far, I've been already displeased with IE7's beta. I mean, beta obviously shouldn't be trusted as perfect, but it's dodgy when you're typing. Well, atleast for myself, it is. I have to constantly look up just to be sure each key I hit has actually gone through. RE: dodgy microsoft by zach on 03-30-2006 at 07:36 AM I haven't used IE7, but if you removed some stuff, you probably removed the history of your tabs so it went to the microsoft site. I've uninstalled IE7 and now I have 2 icons on my quickstart directing to IE6. One with the IE6 logo and the other with the IE7 one . Apart from that my address bar seems to be acting weird sometimes. If I type in an address it shows the new address, then it somtimes goes back to the old one that was in there and then back to the new one o.O. quote:they added more support for the web standards in IE7. It's still not very good, but it's better. RE: dodgy microsoft by NiteMare on 03-30-2006 at 09:05 AM
the only real problems i've found with IE7 are liveable till they get fixed in another releace RE: dodgy microsoft by Hank on 03-30-2006 at 09:09 AM
quote:they couldnt have done that by making a patch or somehting that did the same job in IE6? RE: dodgy microsoft by Kryptonate on 03-30-2006 at 10:01 AM
quote:People already bashed Microsoft for not working on IE anymore so they had to bring a new one to compete with FF and Opera. RE: dodgy microsoft by Patchou on 03-31-2006 at 01:48 AM What the hell? I hope you reported this to Microsoft, that's uterly ridiculous. RE: dodgy microsoft by qgroessl on 03-31-2006 at 03:07 AM
quote: Yeah... I'd report it to Microsoft cause there's not much else you can do... I dunno... If I was you i'd start using Firefox or Opera (haven't tried that one).... I use AOL Explorer or firefox... works well. RE: dodgy microsoft by Patchou on 03-31-2006 at 03:36 AM I just tried doing the same thing in an IE7 freshly instaleld and the links were not modified. Let's hope it was a stupid mistake they already fixed. RE: dodgy microsoft by Hank on 03-31-2006 at 03:42 AM
