When I sign onto messenger and try to talk to one of my friends, she keeps complaining that her computer locks up and she has to restart when I talk to her for more than maybe 10 seconds. She says that I am the only person that makes her computer crash and she is the only one that complains about her computer crashing because of me. do you use a Dynamic Display Picture? RE: Messenger Lockup by BlueAcid on 04-06-2006 at 02:05 AM Whats the difference between a normal picture and a dynamic one? Even if she uses one, I dont see what that has to do with her computer locking up by sending messages. RE: Messenger Lockup by Chris4 on 04-06-2006 at 03:53 AM
quote:A dynamic display picture is about double the size of a normal display picture, and is animated. (Full explanation: Click here) So if you did have a dynamic display picture, her computer might slow down because it takes longer to load because it is animated, which could cause MSN Messenger to crash, if she has a slow computer. RE: Messenger Lockup by BlueAcid on 04-07-2006 at 01:40 AM Ok, I get it. She doesnt use DDP but I recently found something new... I can still type to her, but not anymore than maybe 1 or 2 words at a time. If I were to type more than that, her computer crashes and she has to restart. I rarely use emoticons and she doesnt either. RE: Messenger Lockup by BlueAcid on 04-11-2006 at 02:12 AM Oh yeah, my bad. I dont use a DDP either. Im using version 7.5 on XP of course. |
