I turn my computer on just a few minutes ago and i start msn and it starts installing a new version i presume or its repairing somthing i really have no clue and the bar goes down pretty far until it says it has failed to copy a txt file and then i click retry and it still doesnt work so then i just press cancel and it will say are you sure and i say yes and continue, then it has some other error about some .lnk file.  (pics below)  Now every time I start WLM the update regenerates and the same problems persist.  Whats going on?




I'm going to reinstall it and see what happens.

try a fresh install.Delete the Folder in ur Admin path to  Delete the C:\Documents and Settings\UserAccount\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger <-- delete that folder before reinstall

alright, i uninstalled it just a second ago.  and i deleted the folder. I over looked it the first time


EDIT:  I downloaded it again and i start the install and i get the same error messages but this time I got an error code '1603'.
