since the old "vice head boy" post was brought, i would like to tell, that since now i am in the final year of school, i have stood for the post of Head Boy. the elections were held on friday, with the whole school voting. i hope ill win.

bah, good luck. Atleast your school alows people to run for election, ours is a dictatorship, the teachers pick the biggest brown-nosers to be senior prefects and head boys...

our school doesnt really runs like hogwarts. its not residential school, and we dont have to live in our houses, but in with the people of same year divided into sections. but we do have a house system with interhouse competitions every friday. almost no studies on fridays, only competitions.
and we have the head boy and head girl from twelth class, through elections and interviews, and then other prefects like President of Student Council, Sports Captain, four house captains, one for each house and a cultural secretary.

I was a prefect in my school .... we made one of our friends as headboy .... i know how important a post it is .... good luck Rubber Stamp

Bah, your schools all have lazy teachers so they have to choose prefects and head boys/girls. Our school is divided into houses (north, east, south, west), and each house has a "head of house", which is a teacher, and then you have 2 house captains and 2 vice captains in each house, which are students, but they don't really do anything. And the only people who "patrol" are the heads of houses and some other teachers. Erm yeah, felt like saying that, seeming as so many other schools seem to have prefects.

We have the same sorta thing as tasha..

Four forms:
-(Margret) Clitherow
-(Thomas) More
-(Thomas) Becket
-(John) Fisher

(all named after saints.)

then each form has a House Captains (Boy and Girl, Yr 11) and deputy house captains (Boy and Girl, Yr 10).

(I am the House Captain of Clitherow.)

We have prefects in each year, as well as senior prefects. There are about 4 senior prefects to a form, and they just organise what duty each prefect has to do. Prefects must be in Yr 11. A Prefect has duty to do.

We have Head Boy + Head Girl, and their deputies. All year 11.

Thats about it..
