hello everyone, im new so don't get frustrated if i say all this wrong i downloaded a skin to change the average looking light blue and white Messenger Plus! to a techno lime green style but it didnt really work, the msn dude was all coloured but i couldnt open the screen to sign in, is there any other more reliable ways of getting the same effect?

What skin did you download, and was it for the right version? Most skins have to be updated to be compatible with new builds.

You downloaded the incorrect version of the skin. For instance if you try and open MSN Messenger then press ALT then Space you will see the system menu. The reason this happened is because the skin made changes to MSN Messenger that the version doesn't support. I recommend reinstalling MSN Messenger from http://messenger.msn.com.

What skin is it? I'll find out what version it will work for, you can tell by whoever wrote the installer script in most cases.
