It is great. And the price, woo. However, office is really pushing it on process memory, it really is high.

hmm, I haven't even installed it yet, and already I'm getting problems...
take a look at TeaTimer.exe, S&D's taskbar program
Edit: got the standard "This program ended unexpectantly" box saying it won't install, asking to send M$ an error report...

It's a beta. The beta of Office 2003 was a memory hog too, The retail product was alot better, but still. Office in general is a memory hog. So if Open Office.
Now if you want to see a program with some great memory managment, Try Photoshop CS2. It's a huge memory hog when you are working in it, but I can have huge photos open in Photoshop in the background and it's only using 3mb of ram.

It seems that the Office 12 Beta serial codes handed out for free by Microsoft work on any version of office. However, you can't be too sure if it will expire in February or not either way. Activate now, before they fix this bug!

Its actually quite good you know, I have:
Outlook 2007, Windows Word 2007, Publisher 2007 & Powerpoint 2007 running now and it is using 92mb which isnt bad
