Something I have always loved about MsgPlus is its possibilitie to check pop3 mails from the msn windows and even open mail webclients with a single click. However there is something that has always bothered me... It is something very simple, but I would like to know if it's because of some internet browser configuration, or if this is because plus has been programmed to do that: RE: Why does plus open "pop3 email client link" in existing windows? by Supersonicdarky on 05-25-2006 at 03:08 AM i have it open in a new tab in ff, i think yu can change it in the settings (of firefox) RE: Why does plus open "pop3 email client link" in existing windows? by Patchou on 05-25-2006 at 05:43 AM This is fixed in Messenger Plus! Live . All links are now opened in new windows. RE: Why does plus open "pop3 email client link" in existing windows? by Hank on 05-25-2006 at 06:03 AM why windows an not tabz? RE: Why does plus open "pop3 email client link" in existing windows? by cooky560 on 05-25-2006 at 04:42 PM actually talking about the pop3 feature, it seems to have stopped working as for tbCat's browser concern, telling firefox to force a new tab for links opened by external programs (this setting is found under "tabs" in FF 1.5) seems to fix the problem. Internet Explorer users can do something to the same effect by clearing the "use existing browser windows" checkbox in settings->advanced RE: Why does plus open "pop3 email client link" in existing windows? by tbcat on 05-26-2006 at 09:54 PM
Thanks! ^_^ RE: Why does plus open "pop3 email client link" in existing windows? by RaceProUK on 05-29-2006 at 01:19 PM The POP3 feature won't just stop working randomly: you'll have stuffed up a setting or something. |
