Ok, so I want to upgrade the memory on my Vaio desktop. I've had a look about & apparently I have two slots, one being used & holding 512MB & the other being empty. The maximum apparently is 1Gb. Was wondering if that ment 1Gb in each slot or both adding up to equal 1Gb (512 + 512). And if people have recomendations for which manufacturer to use. Usually it means both adding up. RE: Ease My Mind Of Memory by Voldemort on 05-29-2006 at 05:24 PM

Its adding them up. RE: Ease My Mind Of Memory by surfichris on 05-30-2006 at 06:20 AM 1GB is your total max, from what I can tell by looking it up. quote:It _may_ be a generic brand where he lives or something. Unless he means Kingston? RE: Ease My Mind Of Memory by GiantSpider on 05-30-2006 at 12:22 PM Yeah, I was just wondering which wether it was the sum of the two, which it seems to be. Cheers all. |
