ok guys... have a problem!!!

i read here about the system requirements of WLM, but everything seemed ok... pentium 233, 128 ram... i have PIII 1Ghz & 256 ram but its very slow... i dont know why but i become always more pissed off from WLM!!! 7.5 worked without any problems and WLM sux... it needs about 1 or 2 secs to realise what i do... does anyone else have that problem??

Those requirements seem to the the minimum. Having what they say is the minimum will let WLM run, but not at 100% efficiency.

ok but what i have is a lot more than the minimun so why doesnt it work like 7.5?

Yes, WLM is definitely more CPU and RAM intense than MSN 7.5 was. I still hope it will get better when Microsoft releases the first non-beta version. But i'm afraid it won't get to 7.5 level or better.

Those listed system requirements are just plain stupid. You need Windows XP for WLM. Ever tried to smoothly run XP on a 233 MHz pentium? .

the requirements from 7.5 & WLM are nearly the same when i read what i found on the net...

They might be... but minimum system requirements given by companies/developers are way of so many times. Never rely on them too much.

I personally have a AMD Athlon XP 2600+ CPU/1.5GB RAM and even I can clearly notice WLM is slower than 7.5. WLM just sucks by using lots of reacources on every pc .

I remember MSN Messenger 6.2 having the exact same requirements, when will they change them?

runs fine for me, never noticed it being slow at all on this comp or on my old comp (which had 768mb ram and an athlon 2500), although i shouldnt notice slowdown on this comp =p
