I downloade windows Vista beta 2 from microsoft site and now it won't install, sais the windows files are corrupt why?

maybe an error during download, i suggest (unfortunatly) you redownload the file

Have you burn it properly on a DVD? Maybe it's the burn who's corrupt, so you don't need to redownload, only reburn

I'll wait till the final copy comes out

why?

to check the files integrity, not equal = corrupt file

so the image may be fine just the way I burned it may be screwed up is that what your saying?

I had an issue with a dvd with linux and the only reason for this was that I read it in a dvd-rom with less read speed than the dvd was burned with. So I just moved the dvd from the dvd-rom to the dvd-burner and the dvd isn't corrupt anymore. You might have the same issue. Then you might want to check the md5sum on the dvd if your iso file is correct.

I re-download the image....So if I burn it at a VERY slow speed and make sure I read the dvd with my burner it should work ok?  Is that what you guys are saying?
