What I would like to know is, are there any free math programs out there (for special math characters and etc)? If so, which ones? RE: Math Program by J-Thread on 06-18-2006 at 05:14 PM
I'm not sure what Mathtype does, but I assume you want to markup some mathemathical things etc? RE: Math Program by welshboy222 on 06-18-2006 at 05:20 PM No its not very known to me but if all else fails search on Google! RE: Math Program by Thor on 06-18-2006 at 06:21 PM You could use Excel, or maybe I misunderstod, even so, I would recommend u to use anything else but Microsoft Office... My opinion though RE: Math Program by Tochjo on 06-18-2006 at 06:24 PM For occasional use, you could use the Equation Editor included in Microsoft Office (a free and basic version of MathType). Additionally, the editor in OpenOffice seems quite nice. RE: Math Program by Rik on 06-18-2006 at 06:25 PM RE: Math Program by Lou on 06-19-2006 at 03:15 AM
quote:That isn't what I'm looking for But thanks, it can be handy. quote:Well obviously quote:I had the equation editor at some point, but right now I'm using the 2007 beta of office so I'd rather not take any chances. As well I don't want to install open office just for this. |
