the yahoo interop looks like its gonna be in Yahoo messenger 8 from what i see as it has a choice when you add a contact whether its Microsoft LCS or Yahoo Messenger .. the public wont b able to test it i dont think the interop tho, i'll have to see what i can findout

I added myself (hotmail id) in Yahoo. But nothing happened for the past 5 mins

Yeah, the WLM beta chat (which only a group of selected testers were invited to) said Yahoo interop beta will start very soon. They specifically said beta, but don't know if it will be public beta or anything.

The current version of WLM (Final! 
) is not compatible with Yahoo Messenger as far as I know. I would guess that version 8 of Yahoo Messenger will probably be something to do with compatibility with WLM. I suppose they will release a major update for WLM when they get round to it.

I can't install Yahoo Messenger because a error comes up everytime. It also happens with the Yahoo Widget Engine.

what Yahoo7 is, Channel 7 ( owned by kerry Stokes) an Australian Millionaire/Billionaire went into partnership with yahoo, just like ninemsn an microsoft did, so thats why its still got yahoo7 (blahh)
