error 81000306 comes up and when i run troubleshoot it comes up with the hostfiles and proxy settings need fixied when i click repair it comes up something about cleaning then and i click on yes this does not work

Something must be wrong with the servers everyones getting problems now

M73A have you got signed in? unfair! i havn't been able to sign in for 10-15 mins now!

I just signed in. Wasn't working for me since 10 minutes but for only two of my accounts, two other accounts were working Why is that?

I think its some sorta wierd server prob. 2 of the 3 of my accounts can log on, but with the one thats unable to, I go the errors 81000306, 81000314. Thankfully its working now!

The error 81000306 is sometime due to patching WLM. Try removing your patches ppl.

i think you will find it is a router isp issue are most of you using a netgear router or with aol??

im still not able to use it and it just has the 3100306 error code and its like i have serious depression and stuff and i need to talk to people on msn cuz i live far from anyone and im useing a belkin54g router and virgin media broadband they say broadband and email is down but its confuseing can someone reply fast please

I've been having this exact same problem for months now. It's was frustrating!! At first I thought, "I'll try again later." Or maybe it has something to do with Vista. I've tried EVERYTHING I've seen online but nothing worked. I've tried tons of times since it started and strange enough it's let me sign in ONCE. Just once. But I think I've found a solution.

Go to the Control Panel and find Uninstall a Program (under "Programs") [for Vista users...but for XP users, just go into My Computer]. Find "Windows Live ID Sign-In Assistant" and go Uninstall.

I just uninstalled Windows Live ID Sign-In Assistant. I'm able to sign in now. Hopefully this will be the end of it. I hope this helped you guys.
