Desktop contact problems - Printable Version

Here's my problem:
I want to have a certain declercq_l***@hotmail.com on my desktop. But when I do that declercq_t***@hotmail.com automatically appears on my desktop too, without it being checked in the "manage desktop contacts" list.
When I remove declercq_t***@hotmail.com from my desktop contacts by right-clicking on it and removing it then only declercq_l***@hotmail.com is shown like I want to. After a restart of live messenger however, none of those two is shown on my desktop.
I have 4 other desktop contacts and I don't have problems with those. I'm using windows Live Messenger 8.0.0787 with plus! that's been released just now. I reinstalled to delete the settings of plus! but that didn't help either.

Another problem (taken from my other post on advice of a member)
The desktop contacts have a little problem when the status changes, it kinda leaves a bit of the previous status behind (eg. you can still see a wee bit of the red busy sign when it changes from busy to online) and this made it abit confusing to be, especially since the colors weren't exactly contrasting.
