Hello!

I'm using the newest WLM and plus!live and I have problem with size of DP in contact list... they are way to big. Where can I set this up?

They are bigger than the ones in 7.5 thats just the way that the messenger team made it (personally I dont like it either so I have it without the DP)

note: oh yes, this screencap was taken before msn plus! came out, hence you don't see the plus! logo :)

hey
i have a similar problem as i dont know how to make my contacts dp pictures appear at all they are currently just very small green icons
does anyone know how to change the size of the icons?

This issue can be fixed quite easily. Just click the up and down arrows next to the Add a contact button and untick "Show Details".

If you call that a fix... DP dissapears if you do that :)

strangly, i dont have that bug, my contact list is as normal as it should be... instead, explain me how to enable the avatars before the buddy status icon?

My contact list is avatarless

Unfortunately, in Windows Live Messeger, the display pictures no longer show unless details show. It's not a bug unfortunately. It's how it was programmed. I miss that feature too.:(

I don't know how people who posted earlier managed to get the display picture next to the green person.

I would appreciate it if someone told me how to do it.

We have checked "SHOW DETAILS" exept NeuralTransmitter becouse he is using patch (he is working on it right now... it will be out this week). That's why he is having smaller DP next to green person.

Show details, is located, next to the 'Find a contact or number...' text box in your messenger main screen. Click the "green buddy with '+'sign" next to this box and select "show details"

By the way i've found something pretty dumb...
First, display your contacts by email adress...
Then you click "show details" you got the DP, then the status buddy, then 3 lines which are : email / custom message / email again
Why can't we have : email / nickname / custom message ?
Even on hover it doesn't show the nickname anymore...
If you can find a way to patch this too that would be nice :)

for those still interested, you can find an automated patch with the three options, being:

1) normal list with small dp's
2) normal list with small dp's and no green buddy
3) detailed list with medium dp's and hidden email (so 2 lines only)
