The Event Viewer dosn't work.
I have:
Windows Live Messenger 8.0.0792.00
Messenger Plus! Live 4.0.0.235
The Event Viewer only logs my own events. None of my contacts actions are being logged.
I have uninstalled both Messenger Plus and Live Messenger, but it didn't solve the problem. I have also tried diffent settings in the filter for events, but it didn't make no differense. I have also tried different settings for saving to file, xml or plain text etc. etc.
Any suggestions?

Do you have Messenger Discovery installed?
Are you using a patched version of Windows Live Messenger?
If you have the event viewer open and change your status does that log?
Are you using polygamy?
Have you tried another user account?

No Dicovery, no patched version.
It logs when I change my status.
Don't think I have any polygama, don't know what it is.
I've tried with a different user account, and still nothing.

It only logs my own events, regardless if the event viewer window is open or not.

I have Simp Pro, when I closed that, it work.

I have the same problem when I use SimpLite and Plus! in the same time. The 2 components are important for me, is it possible to fix this problem? Thanks.

I'm having similar problem, it's intermittent. Logs my own events but seldom my contacts'.
I have:
Windows Live Messenger 8.0.0792.00
Messenger Plus! Live 4.0.0.235
WinXP SP2
I don't have Simp Pro, and I didn't start or close other applications during the entire period.

Same problem for me, it only reports Status Changes for my user (not even personal message changes for me.
Messenger Plus! Live 4.01.0.240
Windows Live Messenger 8.0.0792.00
Simp Lite-MSN 2.2.0
Windows XP SP2
It's not working since it Plus! for WLM 8 was first released.
Another thing, it many times kinda hangs for a while (i.e. while I'm typing it just stops showing what I type for a few seconds to a minute and then it shows everything at once, or it doesn't let me touch anything in the window -the cursor disappears when I hover it over MSN window- for some time).
BTW, nice work on the new Plus! Congrats and keep up the cool work!

Well, just tried stopping Simp Lite and (appart from WLM crashing when Simp exited) the event viewer started to work fine!
So this def must be some prob between Plus! and Simp I think.
