One of the things I miss most from MP!3 is the ability to dock my messenger window to the side of my screen - especially now, with windows live's hidden menu bar not actually allowing the damned thing to reach the top of my screen.
Is this possible to fix with a script or is it beyond the scope of the engine?

beyond the scope of the engine. Besides, it was asked before a numerous times. Search for it and you'll get more answers.

i would like the window to be docked to the left and then would slide in on mouse over

There is a plugin for this is MP!3 it was very unstable though, no doubt they will try and make one for MP!4 but you will just have to wait for now.

I did a search for 'docking' in the scripts section and got nothing outside of plug-ins.
