its easy, first you need to copy the base of his or her nick with color using the tags [c=numer of the color] nickname for your contact [/c=numer of the color]

next you need to change his or her nick

and paste it
this only works with windows live messenger and msgplus! live installed

Is there a tool which can create colourmixtures within the nicknames? If not, can anyone make such a tool for me?

you can use [c={first colour}]Text[/c={fading colour}]

the plug-in colornick V2 was really good but now there are scripts, eventually someone will re-create it in a script

Please go toC:/Program Files/MSN Messenger, look for "riched20.dll" and delete it if its there...

Go to control Panel, Add remove programs, Uninstall WLM, Delete the complete folder of WLM in program files, reinstall WLM

It´s pretty cool and all, but everyone else that doesn´t have Msg PLUS installed will just sees me as [c=1]KY[/c=46][c=46]LE[/c=1] and won´t understand what the hell I´m trying to say with my nickname, right? *-)

Some people just don't pay attention do they? ^o)

Do what I suggested for more than one gradient or use

[c=4]This[/c][c=2] to[/c][c=5] use[/c][c=3] more[/c][c=4] colours[/c]

i cant see the colour on my contacts names it only shows the code how can i fix this so i can see the colours?

Do you have Messenger Plus installed? If not then download it and install it

If you do already have it then check in the Preferences panel that colours are set to show properly

Since you see the formatting codes, I don't think you have Messenger Plus! Live installed, please downlad&install it first on a Windows Live Messenger.
