Is there a function or similar to see if a contact has MsgPlus! Live installed? I've looked in the documentation but havn't seen this. Any help would be appreciated, thanks :).

Simply check the registry for any key in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Patchou\Messenger Plus! Live.

If you are using a script then you don't need to do this because the script wont load unless it is installed.

It'll still load for me, I just want it to check if the contact I'm sending a message has it installed.

umm you didnt read correctly did you :P

Check if a CONTACT has messenger plus live installed :P

and no hmaster its not possible, would be an invasion of privacy i guess :^)

Even if it was a ping it would still have to send something to the contact. I'm trying to do it before a message is sent, more like a silent ping :P

And I think the /ping command does not make the difference between MP!L and other versions.

Yeah it probably does, but like mathieumg said it doesn't tell me if it is Plus! or Plus!Live. Thats the main thing I'm trying to do.
