Hi, i remember stuffplug having this feature for messenger 7.5 but it seems like they're never releasing it and there's no info of this feature on the new relese.

Anyway is there any way to open the hotmail/live mail inbox on my default browser (firefox) a script for such a task  would be greatly appreciated

Messenger Plus! Live has a /run command. You could write a script to send the message /run <firefox path> <arguments>

The <arguments> would be the address, but I'm not perfectly sure that this would work. I know adding the arguments after the path works in VB6 for iexplore.exe, but I'm not sure about MP!L

thanks, i actually know nothing about programming, but an idea i had while i was trying to sleep is addign a new utton beside the regular one and the color and the spaces and whatnot programmed to launch the inbox in the default browser... does it make sense, is it even possible?

Already requested this, however they open in IE for a reason. Other links open in your default browser but some need IE to work. Remember messenger uses IE for alot of things like logging display pictures. Patchou did not want to code the feature because changing the links could stop certain features from working.

As for Stuffplug, hopefully it will bring back this feature .

i do hope so, i'll try the mess.be forums and see what the coders there know about this
