If you mean Messenger Plus! Live then it is very much compatible with MSN Messenger?Windows Live Messenger 8.0.787/8.0.792.
If you are unable to use Messenger Plus! Live with Windows Live Messenger see -

I'm currently working on possible ways to make Messenger Plus! Live more "patch friendly" but in the meantime, remember to always ensure that you are using a clean Messenger before you report any problem.
