Im after a script similar to the one created by timothy for MSN Messenger 7, titled "MSN Messenger Aplication Monitor". it used the office and games icon, and also allowed to to add new processes to the current list, as well as assign a certain icon (office/games) and message to this process which was then displayed in PSM

would be nice to have a dialoge to add new "processes" and with the ability to assign either icon... as well as space to add the "message" that would be displayed in PSM...

OK, this is done except for one problem.

Some programs seem to like returning their path as C:\PROGRA~1\MOZILL~1\FIREFOX.EXE rather than the full path and I can't find a way to convert this in JScript yet.

So most programs work, but some don't, and I don't really wanna release till I've sorted that.

I know... I'm having problems coding something in 2006 because people couldn't be bothered to fix DOS problems in the 90s. :P

Custom emoticons don't work in PSM, only icons I can use are the one's in Messenger, Office, Games and Music.

I suppose.  That'd just be setting your PSM to something and adding an emoticon at the start.  I'll put it an option for normal PSM setting.  Then you can add emoticons at the start of it if you want to.

from memory those were the only 2 (games and office) icon that were able to have enabled, if i am wrong plz correct me, although i agree there should be more icons but im not gonna push it as i will be happy with what is given...just out interest though, did u want to post a couple icons for, an application abroad....
coming to that fact it would be cool, aswell as reading the exe and pasting the PSM that it also reads the active apps icon

I can't use icons that aren't built into messenger.

What?  But that's pointless, you'd select :) from some icon list and then the message for the program running you'd set to "I'm playing this game!" then my script would set the psm to ":) I'm playing this game!"..... why not just have you put in the message ":) I'm playing this game!" rather than have a list of all the emoticons in messenger...?
