Specific Group Colouring [REQUEST] by //Chris on 07-08-2006 at 10:49 PM

I was wondering if a scrip could be made that would make it possible to easily colour conversation windows depending on the group of the contact.

For example, contacts in "My Family" would have a green conversation window, and "My Friends" would be red.

Thanks

yeah that could be useful, pm me if someone decides to make it.

AFAIK, the scripting system doesn't have access to the window colours as yet, so this script isn't makable with the scripting system as yet.

But it does have access to the window handle, and with a few SendMessage() API calls...

Good point.

But another problem with this is, there is no way to find the group of a contact easily, not using scritping alone ;)

would anybody care to write a dll with the functions getContacts(group) and getGroups(contact) please?
it would be much appreciated by many people here.

What happens if contacts are members of multiple groups?
