Couple more suggestions after 4.01!!! by Dragunov on 07-17-2006 at 09:24 AM
PLUS!:
- U now have a "quick icon panel" and the original one of msn can be replaced by this one, but the original one also supports moving ones, so u can see them move in the preview, in ours not, can u add this?
- Now u have to be logged in to have access to the preference menu of Plus!, can u change this, so this is no longer acquired and u just can look to preferences without logging in, just by opening the mainwindow of Messenger without logging in?
-
When u change something to ur preferences, u can click on apply, is this really needed or can u just press on OK?
Also if this is needed, once applied, can u grey out the apply button?
- U can read about the info about Messenger Plus! when u click in the mainwindow on of Messenger on Plus!, there u see the translator and such, but can u also add a button to check for updates?
GENERAL:
- In the future we gonna see, during tabbed chats, who is sending a message?
SITE:
- Maybe on mainsite u can add "forum":
--> Home News Download Features FORUM Help More
Something like this
THanks

You can just press okay, I'm sure Patchou will take greying out the button into account, but it's not a feature that's really needed.quote: Originally posted by Dragunov

The preferences are user-defined, so you will always have to be signed in on the email account you want with those Plus! Live settings sorry. None of the preferences are global to all of the users of Windows Live Messenger on your computer.

That's very doubtful.

I'm sure it's possible, and it's a good idea.

well seeing as the sign in on multiple accounts option is a global option,... you should be able to turn it on without signing in.
plus could always be made to disable access to other options while not logged in. just like WLM itself is.

that's just one option.... for only one or two options this will not be done and is rather useless.
If you want to set those global settings without logging in (for whatever strange reason ), do it directly in the registry.

I agree with adding a link to the fourms at the top . I just have the fourms bookmarked, but a link would be nice for new people.
Nothing else you meantioned I really need, but it would be nice to have. Especially the animated emoticons in the quick panel.

maybe a possibility to link this forum to a different kind of language
Cause if u choose Dutch, u go to the Dutch version of the site, but also to the Dutch version of the forum, I like this forum way more, than the Dutch one
