I'd like to see a script that displays the number of new emails you have in your personal message. Maybe make it something like a configurable message with the number of emails as a variabel as in the countdown script. RE: [Request] Unread Mails in psm by cooldude_i06 on 07-19-2006 at 08:28 PM Why would you want to tell your contacts how many unread messages you have? RE: [Request] Unread Mails in psm by DeLaVega on 07-19-2006 at 08:45 PM So they know how long they have to waite RE: [Request] Unread Mails in psm by cooldude_i06 on 07-19-2006 at 08:55 PM From a quick scan of the documentation, there is no single property for current email count, so it won't be possible easily. RE: [Request] Unread Mails in psm by deAd on 07-19-2006 at 10:18 PM You could do it with the Messenger API, it even has an event that tells when the unread count changes but some people dont like the messenger api because it causes windows messenger to run in the background...however Plus! uses the api so it's usually already running RE: [Request] Unread Mails in psm by Keikonium on 07-19-2006 at 10:22 PM
Quick question not exactly related to the topic... RE: [Request] Unread Mails in psm by andrewdodd13 on 07-19-2006 at 10:31 PM I don't think Plus! depends directly on the Windows Messenger executable file for it's API, as I have slipstreamed Windows installation which doesn't have WM installed, and Messenger Plus! (Live too) works fine. |
