well there are patches such as mess patch and a-patch which add and remove messenger features but i wouldnt concider them add-ons

There's a user there called Phoenix, but that ain't me. I'm RaceProUK on the Mess Forum as well as here, but I don't really visit it that often.

I did a search and couldn't find where this 'Phoenix for Live' thing is, so if someone could kindly link me to it?

You have to pay for it since a very long time (it was only temporary free at one point as a promotional stunt)... please don't post stuff just for the heck of it (also refering to some old news you posted in another which you pulled off from some undisclosed site).
